Imphal, August 06 2015: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has appealed to the public to suspend the ongoing pro-ILPS agitation on August 8 and 9 as over 10,000 candidates from the State will appear in the Combined Graduate Level, 2015 (Tier-1) written examination to be held on August 9 at different centres of Imphal and Churachandpur.

In Imphal, 8675 candidates would appear at seven centres and 1847 candidates at two centres of Churachandpur, said a statement.

Any inconvenience caused to the candidates due to road blockades or disruptive activities would deprive the job aspiring youths of the State from taking the opportunity to compete with the candidates of the rest of the country for various posts of the Central Government, added the statement.
