Chandel, May 06 2015 : The Aimol Tribe Union Manipur has strongly condemned the incident at Laithokching which left one dead and four others injured at around 9 pm yesterday, reports our correspondent.

S Munthuireng Aimol, president, Aimol Tribe Union said that Aimol community and Meitei community in Pallel have been sharing a cordial relationship for many decades.

He stated that the Aimols are not only unaware of the incident but also did not instigated anyone to cause disturbances in the area.

While terming the incident as unfortunate, S Munthuireng said that the involved culprit(s) should be held at the earliest.
