Imphal, September 05 2011: Irked by erratic network of BSNL mobile service at Chakpikarong area, Anal Lenruwl Tangpi (ALT), Chakpikarong branch has warned that it will approach the higher authorities of the public telephone company if 24-hour service is not restored and the damaged generator is not replaced at the earliest.

The students' body in a press release said that mobile subscribers of the area have been facing lots of inconvenience since past many months as the generator installed at BSNL exchange is not working with no authority to attend the grievances of the subscribers.

Mobile service is currently operational for only 15 hours a day at Chakpikarong, it added.
