Imphal, October 04 2015: The All Manipur VDF Welfare Association thanked the State Government for giving its nod to increase the honorarium of VDF personnel.

Although, the honourarium hike promised by the State Government would not meet the monthly expenses, the association expressed hope that the State Government would keep its words and increase the honourarium in time, the association in a statement said.

The association also urged the State Government to provide honourarium for 13 months in a year.

It further appealed to the authority concerned to re-instate Likmabam Somorjit Singh, VDF No 0915032, who has been placed under suspension till date.
