Imphal, January 03 2014 : A 40 year old man who has been undergoing treatment after he hit a speed breaker in front of Thoubal police headquarters along Imphal-Moreh road at around 11.30 pm of December 31 succumbed to his injuries yesterday.

Thokchom Tomba s/o late Mani of Khangabok Keithel was riding a motorcycle (Enfield Bullet) on the pillion while one Laingam (23) s/o late Laingam rode the motorcycle.

Laingam lost control and they hit the speed breaker.

Tomba succumbed to the injuries at Shija Hospital last night.

Laingam is still undergoing treatment at RIMS whereas Tomba's body has been brought to JNIMS morgue.
