Imphal, January 02 2014: A total of 125 pieces of N-10 tablets and SP capsules were seized from four individuals by volunteers of the Apunba Shinmi Lup, Ghari today.

The four persons apprehended with drugs have been identified as Kh Surjitkumar (29) s/o Laingam of Meitram Awang Leikai, L Amarjit (21) s/o Amuchou of Tera Lukram Leirak, Ngambam Ningshen (18) s/o Tuensang Ningshen of Ngariyan and M Gautam (29) s/o Kesho of Ghari Awang Leikai.

M Gautam runs a restaurant named Eden Garden at Ghari, said Apunba Shinmi Lup secretary Thiyam Binodkumar.

Gautam and Kh Surjitkumar were peddling drugs at the restaurant and on learning about it, they were warned in advance.

All the four would be handed over to their families, Binodkumar said.
