Bishnupur, October 01 2017: Lions Club of Bishnupur, Lions Club International District 322 D, organised a free health camp for the elderly as a part of the International Day for Older Person, today .

An awareness programme on the various ailments faced by old people, steps and remedies to treat such ailments etc, was also organised as a part of the event .

The elderly were given free tests for diabetes, hypertension and gout .

Retired Additional Director/ Geriatrician Lion, Dr W Gulapi Singh, Dr Rita Devi and Dr W Upendro also provided free treatment to the old people .

A total of around 120 elderly people took part in the free health camp .

They were also provided free medicines as a part of the event .

Key members of Lions Club of Bishnupur also took part in the free health camp.
