Imphal, June 01 2014: A 57 year old man was killed when he was knocked down by a car (Chevrolet Beat) at around 8.30 pm yesterday at Yumnam Leikai along Imphal- Moreh highway.

The victim has been identified as Mutum Shyamkishore (57) s/o Dhananjoy of Heirangoithong Mutum Leirak.

He was walking on foot when he was knocked down by the car.

The corpse has been handed over to family members today and the car seized apart from registering a case at Imphal Police Station.
