AR saves snake bite victim

Imphal, February 28 2017:
Medical team of 2 Assam Rifles of 9 Sector Assam Rifles under aegis of HQ IGAR (South) saved the life of a snake bite victim yesterday.
Victim Doren (40) of Kiyan, Thoubal district was bitten by a snake while farming and was immediately rushed to the unit hospital of 2 Assam Rifles.
The victim was attended by the medical team and necessary first aid was administered.
The victim was later referred to District Hospital, Thoubal.
The timely action of Assam Rifles medical team not only saved Doren's life but has also reinforced good faith among the locals of Kiyan.
