Imphal, March 29 2012: Various organisations of the State have staged sit-in-protest against the brutal raped of a house wife at Keinou Awang Leikai by four miscreants including two IRB personnel on March 22 .

The protest demonstrations were conducted at Leingangtabi, Chairen Mangjil, Moirang Bazar, Wangoo Sagang, Wangjing Khunou, Kumbi Bazar and Wangoo Chingjin Khullen.

During the agitation, the protesters urged the authority concerned to provide befitting punishment at the earliest to four arrested miscreants who committed the heinous crime.
