Thoubal, January 29 2015 : As part of Assam Rifles Military Civic Action Programme, a two day free medical camp organised by the 22 Assam Rifles of 28 Sector H/Q Assam Rifles has kicked off today at Arong Nongmaikhong police outpost,Thoubal district, reports our correspondent.

The medical camp was organised to provide basic health facilities in the remote areas of the State.

Medical teams under medical officers and six civil doctors conducted medical examination on the villagers of Arong Nongmaikhong and other neighbouring villages.

Medicines were also distributed during the camp.

Police personnel of Arong Nongmaikhong police out post, local youth, meira paibis and volunteers also extended assistance during the medical camp.
