Imphal, January 29 2013: The army organised a recruitment rally at Makokchung, Nagaland from January 19 to January 29 which saw a large turnout of youth, said a PIB (DW) press release.

Senapati Brigade under the aegis of Red Shield Division extended assistance to 300 youth from the remote districts of Senapati and Tamenglong which included training, documentation and transportation from Manipur to Nagaland to take part in the recruitment rally, out of whom 112 candidates have successfully cleared their ground tests.

The successful candidates would now undertake written examination.

GOC Red Shield Division Maj Gen KK Sinha has, meanwhile, expressed his best wishes to all the successful candidates.
