Imphal, September 28 2012: Federation of Regional Indigenous Society (FREINDS) condemned the incident of beatening up its Jiribam branch Vice Chairman Thoudam Ratan by Assam Rifles personnel at his own house on Thursday night.

In a statement, Secretary Publicity W Shanta Meetei of FREINDS has also appealed to all concerned to ensure such incidents are not repeated in future.
