Lamka, July 28 2014 : The KNO today slammed the AR for arresting the C-in-C of UTLA and his PSO without the presence of the police.

Claiming that the KNO's commitment to the 8 years old SoO is abundantly self evident, a statement issued by Stephen Kuki, KNO's under secretary I&P said the arrest of Seipu alias Isael and his PSO by 7AR on 25 July around 7.30pm was an outrageous departure from reciprocal gesture.

The CinC may possess arms strictly meant for security purposes.

"Should this matter be a concern to the AR, appropriate KNO personnel should not be circumvented, which breaches mutual trust", it questioned.

The KNO further urged AR to tread constructively, perform judiciously and restore the hard earned confidence and cordial atmosphere that the tripartite SoO has established.
