Tribal Youth Council Manipur (TYCM) meets Governor

Imphal, October 26 2012: A five member team of Tribal Youth Council Manipur (TYCM) led by its president Tolkham Maring met Governor Gurbachan Jagat today at the Raj Bhavan and presented their cases to him.

In a 30 minute appointment with the Governor, the TYCM delegates submitted a memorandum that focused on the reinforcement of provisions of Article 371-A of the Constitution in the hill areas of the State.

The Governor reportedly assured the delegates to look into their grievances, said a statement issued by the TYCM.
