Imphal, November 25 2017: Kha Manipur Hindustani Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, Kakching secretary as well as Principal, Nabakumar Sharma , has been conferred with International Achievers Award and Rising Men of lndia Award by Friendship Forum of lndia.

Nabakumar is immensely accomplished in the field of music and is a teacher of Hindustani Classical Music for more than four decades.

He has completed Masters in Music (Sangeet Nipun) and has dedicated greatly in establishing and running the musical institute, Manipur Hindustani Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, Kakching.

He is also the writer/author for music and instrument text book for class IX and X (BOSEM) .

The International Achievers Award was conferred to him at the Global Friendship Day at Dubai, on November 17, reports our correspondent.
