Irang bridge to be ready by Aug

Noney, July 25 2022: While informing that launching activity of Irang Bailey Bridge has been progressing smoothly, NHIDCL (P) manager Ankit Singh Rana told this correspondent that the supporting iron bar for the bridge has reached the end point (from western abutment to eastern abutment) and half of total length of the bridge has been launched.

He further informed that the launching work will be completed by July 27 and in another five days the fixing of all the accessories will be completed to make the bridge ready for vehicular moment by first week of August.

It may be mentioned that the reconstruction and installation works of Irang bridge are being undertaken by Guardian Reach Shipyard Engineers (GRSE) based in Kolkata.
