AR extends aid, conducts awareness prog

Imphal, June 25 2021: Khuga Battalion of IGAR (South) extended aid to New Teikot SoO camp located at Singhat sub-divison in Churachandpur district on Thursday.

In a release, PRO IGAR (S) informed that ration and other essential commodities were provided to the camp with adherence to Covid protocols.

On the other-hand, Khoupum Battalion of IGAR (South) organised an awareness campaign centring on COVID-19 Appropriate Behaviour at Satudai, Daithaolong and Ghatao villages of Khoupum Valley on Friday.

Locals were briefed about the variants and symptoms of COVID -19, significance of social distancing and proper sanitization, informed another release issued by the PRO, adding that hand sanitizers, face masks and medicines were also distributed to the villagers.
