Imphal, September 24 2017: A joint meeting of 35 private schools located in different districts of the State today was held today at Mayang Imphal where the Manipur Public Schools Registration and Regulation Bill 2017 was discussed at length .

The meeting decided to take legal aid against any step that may be taken up by the Government on the capacity of the Bill .

At the end of the meeting, a committee christened Committee Against the Manipur Private School Registration and Regulation Bill 2017 was formed .

The committee has convened a meeting of all private schools to discuss the same Bill and some other related agenda on October 1 at Little Master Higher Secondary School, Samurou.
