Imphal, November 23 2012: The State Government has been conferred the e-North East Award for its novel initiative of computerising pensioners' accounts into which pension amounts are deposited for drawal without loss of time and energy.

The award was given to Treasury Director Th Kiran-kumar by North East Development Foundation at a function held at Gangtok today.

The award included a citation and a memento.
