Many fish farms and paddy fields submerged by floods at Khordak

Imphal, July 23 2011:
Incessant rainfalls during the last few days have left more than 100 pari's of fish farms and paddy fields of Nongmaikhong Khordak area under Thanga a/c totally submerged by floods.
Local people of this area who earn their livelihood through fish farming and paddy farming have lost all their hard earn fishes and paddies due to flood.
Meanwhile local MLA T Mangibabu paid a personal visit to the flood affected site and promised to extend all necessary help from his side to the flood victims.
