Imphal, November 22 2021: The proscribed Revolutionary People's Front (RPF) has condoled the demise of its cadre Nongfai, real name Akoijam Vikeshkumar on November 20, 2021 .

A press release issued by Bangkim, RPF assistant secretary, publicity, stated that Akoijam Vikeshkumar was hit by a bullet while unloading his service gun after duty.

Vikeshkumar, s/o of AK Premkumar and AK (ongbi) Surjita of Iroisemba Amukhong Leirak joined the RPF on August 18, 2019 .

After completing basic military training, he was given an army number by the war office.

The statement also stated that a condolence meeting of the deceased was held at every RPF unit, department and station.
