20 houses swept away

Jiribam, July 22 2015 : Incessant rains caused a breach in the river embankment along National Highway- 37 sweeping away almost 20 houses in Gularthon, reports Jiri News Network.

The affected area was inspected by Hilghat Gram Panchayayt Pradhan M Bina Devi and members of Kangleipak Club today.

Speaking to media persons, M Bina urged the department concerned to provide immediate relief to the affected families.
