Churachandpur, June 22 2021: Churachandpur Police seized 168 grams (including the weight of the plastic cover) of suspected Heroin from the resident of one Vungthangching Paite (26) @ Chiching, w/o Lamjoylian of Khominthang village in New Lamka.

Acting on a specific information regarding some narcotics being kept at the residence of the apprehended person for transportation to Shillong, two teams of Churachandpur Police Station identified the house and conducted a search wherein 12 soap cases containing the suspected Heroin powder were found.

An FIR has been filed at Churachandpur Police Station regarding the matter.
