Imphal, June 22 2011: The kuki Students' Organisation (KSO), Imphal Branch has asked the State Government to ensure immediate release of the compensation amount assured to victims of the May 28 bomb explosion inside the Khuman Lampak office premises of ADC office.

A KSO release issued by its general secretary reminded the Government of the State Cabinet's decision to extend Rs 2 lakh assistance to the injured mother with another amount of Rs 1 lakh assured to the two injured daughters.

Even as the Government of Manipur drew flak for not releasing the assured compensation amount till date, KSO appreciated personal concern and humanitarian effort of Education Minister, DD Thaisii on the matter.
