Jiribam, May 21 2012: Troops of 22 AR arrested a hardcore cadre of PLA identified as SS Pvt Munan alias Saddam Hussain (22) son of Md Makoi Ali of Lamkai in Jiribam while conducting a raid at Lamlong Keithel of Jiribam along with one 9mm pistol and 2 live rounds.

The arrested individual along with the seized arm has been handed over to Jiri PS.

Meanwhile, the same AR troops seized 120 kgs of ganja worth Rs 2.5 lakh from an individual identified as Sonlet Singson of Vangai Chungpao village in Churachandpur district.

The contraband item was seized from Nunkhal village in Jiribam while the peddler along with the seized item was handed over to Jiri PS.
