'OORJA' mobile wellness camp organised by AR

Imphal, February 21 2021: 44 Assam Rifles under the aegis of 22 Sector/IGAR(E) organised one-day Mobile free medical camp in Villages along the IT road.

Oorja-which means energy in hindi is an initiative by the 44 Assam Rifles to provide medical facilities to the villagers as the health facilities are not easily available in these far flung villages of the district.

The unit mobile medical team including doctors, the female medical staff are reaching out to various villages.

This unique mobile wellness initiative was flagged off from Tamenglong on 20 Feb by the Commandant, 44 Assam Rifles.

The team is also spreading the awareness about COVID vaccination to the villagers.

The Female medicalstaff is reaching out to women, specifically to address the ailments and related health issues of the women population of the villages.
