Curfew relaxed by UNC

Imphal, December 20 2011:
In view of the Christmas festival, the United Naga Council has decided to relax the one public curfew from December 22 till January 2 next year.
The observation of public curfew would be resumed from the January 3 to register people's protest against the alleged indifferent attitude of the Government of India on the demand of alternative arrangement for the Nagas in Manipur outside the Government of Manipur pending Indo-Naga final settlement, said a press release issued by the UNC.
The UNC also wished every a blessed Christmas and a prosperous New Year 2012 .
