Imphal, October 20 2016: The Saitu Block Congress Committee, conducted a "One Day Political Conference" in connection with the forthcoming Assembly Election, 2017 on Oct 18 at Bungte Chiru Community Hall.

TN Haokip, president of MPCC, IFCD Minister Ngamthang Haoki, Commerce and Industries Minister Govindas Konthoujam, Health Minister D Korungthang, and Sadar Hills ADC chairman, vice-chairman, executive members and members of Saitu ADC attended the function as chief guest, president, special guests and guests of honour, respectively.

Village chiefs/secys, village authority members, youth leaders, women leaders of Saitu A/C were also present, said a statement.
