Church celebrates silver jubilee

Kangpokpi, December 19 2024: Chawangkining Baptist Church, Women Society observed its silver jubilee celebration at Chawangkining, Kangpokpi district today.

The celebration held under the theme "Tingwang gu Lungsa Boga Bamlulo" was attended by Liangmai Naga Baptist Association Manipur, president, Rev Manthaibou Charanamai, the Association's former women secretary, Winliliu Marannamai and other key persons.

Speaking on the occasion, Chawankining village chief, Ch Wisbou stated that the Women Society was formed in the year 1999 and since that the society has played a significant role in the development and welfare of the village.
