Ngangkha Ibudhou Thangjing gallery inaugurated

Bishnupur, December 19 2021: Ngangkha Ibudhou Thangjing Gallery located within the premises of Ibudhou Thangjing Laikol in Ngangkhalawi GP, Moirang was inaugurated today and handed over to Ngangkha Ibudhou Thangjing Lai Haraoba Committee.

The gallery was constructed by Tongram Shyam Meitei and his family to commemorate the life of Tongbram Shyam Meitei's late mother Achoubi Leima.

The inaugural ceremony was attended by Kumam Amuyaima, president Ngangkha Ibudhou Thangjing Lai Haraoba Committee, Tongbram Shyam Meitei and Tongbram (O) Memma Leima as presidium members.

It may be noted that construction of the 60 feet long and 15 feet wide gallery had been completed in 2019, however the inauguration ceremony could not take place owing to the restrictions imposed by the Government as a result of the pandemic.
