Imphal, December 18 2015 : Pentavalent vaccine, five individual vaccines conjugated in one intended to actively protect children from five diseases was administered on children yesterday at Heingang PHC.

This is the first such vaccination in Imphal East district.

MO In-charge of Heingang PHC Dr L Suranjoy said the vaccine will protect children from five diseases such as haemophilus influenza type B, whooping cough, hepatitis B, diphtheria and tetanus toxoid.
