Thoubal, September 18 2014: As part of its drive to prohibit supply and consumption of alcohol and other illicit drugs, Wangjing SK Leikai Apunba Meira Paibi Lup, while checking vehicles plying along Wangjing to Salungpham, at Wangjing SK Leikai, seized 100 litres of local made liquor yesterday.

The illegal intoxicant was being transported in plastic bags.

The supplier has been identified as Sarangthem (o) Tombi Devi, 35, Salungpham Mayai Leikai.

The seized liquor were later set on fire before the public.
