Imphal, May 18 2016: A team of Senapati PHED Division Engineers led by Additional Chief Engineer, Manipur will be con- ducting an inspection tour programme of Katomei, Maiba and Koide village in Senapati district on May 21 to check the work of IHHL (Individual Household Latrine) construc- tion and its uses, water supply scheme followed by motivation to make ODF (Open Defeca- tion Free) status to make model villages in the State for the first time in Senapati district.

The team is trying hard to achieve as many as Open Defecation Free villages in the current year 2016-17 by constructing IHHL as the Government of India is inter- ested in providing sanitary toilet to every village and household, said a press re- lease issued by Executive Engineer of Senapati PHED Division.
