Govt giving more importance to Sangai Festival : MPTCC

Imphal, November 16 2016: Yuva Committee of Trinamool Congress has alleged that the State Government is giving more attention to the Sangai Festival than the current issue.

MPTCC youth president Rk Priyobarta in a statement said while schools have been closed owing to the non-availability of petrol, the State Government is investing more of its time and energy on organising the Sangai Festival that could be postponed too.

The MPTCC president said his party strongly condemn such attitude of the State Government.
