Patriots' Day held at Simalguri

Imphal, August 17, 2012: Paying befitting tributes to Bir Tikendrajit, Thangal General and other Manipuri heroes who laid down their lives for protecting the independence of Manipur, Patiots' Day was also observed at Simalguri-Sivasagar in Assam on August 13. Apart from offering rich floral tributes to the martyrs, senior citizens also recounted the heroic deeds of martyrs to the younger generation at the occasion.
