Resolution taken to protect indigenous communities

Imphal, June 17 2022: Federation of Haomee and Village Heads of eleven villages of Leimarol Chingsang in Kasom Sub-division,Kamjong district have resolved to strive collectively to protect the indigenous communities of the State.

The above resolution was taken during a public meeting convened at Kasom Khullen community hall yesterday, said a press release by Federation of Haomee.

The meeting was attended by villagers of the 11 villages and the issue of threats imposed by the outsiders endangering the native residents and their heritage were discussed at length and the need for concerted efforts to fight against such forces were deliberated, added the release.
