Bishnupur, October 16 2015 : A combined team of Bishnupur district police commandos along with a column of 12 Bihar Regiment apprehended one S/S Corporal of UNLF on October 15 during a search operation held at Nambol bazar.

The apprehendee has been identified as Khundongbam Kiran Khanganba alias Morning, 28, s/o Kh Phajabi Singh of Heirok Mayai Leikai, a statement issued by the police PRO informed.

Investigations revealed that the apprehendee was involved in launching attack/ambush on security personnel.

A case has been registered at Nambol police station, the statement informed.
