Imphal, July 16 2018: On 15 July 2018, Nursing Assistant Rakesh Chakma of Somsai Battalion of Assam Rifles at Awangkasom post provided immediate medical assistance to Mrs Honsanphi Kasom of Awangkasom village.

She was brought to the post after prolonged illness in a critical condition.

Immediate medical assistance and the prompt action of the nursing assistant saved a precious life.
