Imphal, June 16 2021: Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways Nitin Gadkari is likely to inaugurate Makru Bridge on National Highway no 37 (Imphal-Jiribam road) on July 2 .

According to an official report from sources, the inauguration of the bridge was earlier fixed on June 15 (yesterday).

The source continued that Nitin Gadkari has been invited to lay foundation stone for certain other projects, apart from inaugurating the Makru bridge.

It is said that the Union Minister has verbally accepted the invitation.

The source further stated that the bridge is ready for inauguration, other than some minor works.
