An individual who returned from Bihar recently has been taken to RIMS after he showed symptoms of fever and doctors have started examining him.
A man from Kanglatongbi returned from Bihar recently.
As he showed symptoms of fever, health workers took him to RIMS today, sources informed.
It is said that the man who works at Kanglatongbi ply factory also visited Siliguri.
Whether he would be tested for COVID-19 or not would be determined after examination by doctors, said the sources.
On the other hand, a meeting of Administrative Secretaries held yesterday with the Chief Secretary in the chair decided to search for relatives or close acquaintances of the Air India pilot for COVID-19 test if there is any who have not been tested for the virus.
Notably, the pilot's father-in-law had died of COVID-19 in Meghalaya.
