Imphal, January 15 2022: The body of Naorem Suraj (35) who died in a suspected hit and run case has been claimed by the family members after an autopsy at JNIMS, today.

According to reliable information, Naorem Suraj @ Bilay s/o Thopi of Tentha Khunou was declared brought dead by the doctors at Thoubal district hospital yesterday at around 9.30 pm.

Suraj was rushed to Thoubal district hospital by police personnel of Wangjing Outpost from Wangjing Kodompokpi where he was hit by one vehicle.

Sources said that Suraj was a security guard of GR Infra.
