Terming the May 3 incident at Sailent village as unfortunate, the Southern Tangkhul Naga Baptist Association (STNBA) has shared the grief and pain gone through by the Sailent villagers.
A statement issued by Executive Secretary of STNBA, Rev Samuel Tuithung said that the incident was an assault to humanity and dampened the spirit of coexistence while urging the authority concerned to look into the matter and settle the matter amicably.
The STNBA further urged all concerned to refrain from committing such incidents which come in the way of progress and promotion of peace and harmony in the State.
