Imphal, October 13 2015: Reacting to media reports, JAC Imphal Moreh Road Transport Transporters Association has clarified that Ahanthem Dhakeshwor Singh, who has been recently arrested by security forces, is not a member of CorCom.

He is the incumbent president of Tata DI Association, which operates service on Imphal-Moreh road, claimed a statement of the association.

Urging the security forces and NGOs not to give unnecessary harassment to the drivers operating service on the highway, the statement said that they would be compelled to suspend service if security forces keep on levelling unrelated allegations against the people who are operating transport services on the road.
