Jiribam (Imphal East), October 12 2015: A team of Jiri police personnel along with Coalition Against Drugs and Alcohol (CADA), Jiribam district committee members burnt 2 cases of foreign liquor along with 30 litres of local made liquor before the public at Jiribam in the morning today, our correspondent reports.

The liquors were seized from hotels and vendors at Jiribam by a team of police personnel led by Jiri police OC M Noren along with CADA volunteers during a drive.

CADA vice-president Th Ratan Singh has further assured continued drives against intoxicants in the sub-division.
