Imphal, December 11 2019: Committee of Civil Societies Kangleipak (CCSK) welcomed the ILP system extended to Manipur stating that a long cherished dream of the people has been delivered today.

Speaking to media persons at its office this evening, CCSK's Jeetendra Ningomba said people had been demanding the ILP for years and recalled Lamjing Meira Robinhood who died in movement for the ILP and the various agitations people of the State staged in the past.

"CCSK welcomes the ILP, however we not sure how far it will protect the indigenous people," he said.
