Imphal, August 09 2019: The Phaknung Social Youths' Club (PSYC) has appealed the authorities concerned to take up immediate actions/steps to counter the incidence of Japanese Encephalitis at Phaknung Awang Leikai and adjoining areas.

A 21-year-old named Nongthombam Kisan Singh, s/o (L) N Manglem Singh, Phaknung Awang Leikai is now being treated at JNIMS for JE, it said while appealing the authorities concerned to conduct fogging and bed net insecticide treatment at the area.
