Imphal, August 09, 2013: A new body christened Indigenous Minorities Organisation, Manipur (IMOM) has been formed with the motto to live together, progress together peacefully.

A prefatorial meeting with other civil society organisations was held today by the organisation at its office located at Pureiromba Khong- nangkhong.

The office bearers of the newly formed organisation were also announced during the meeting.

Accordingly, Khupler Kom is the president and Rengenson Thanga Chiru is the general secretary.

The other office bearers and executive members included M Bapui Kom, Abraham Saichar Kharam, Ezra Kom, Sailasanth Thangal, Athoi Bongte and Medun Maring.
