Jiribam, June 09 2025: Arambai Tenggol volunteers and Meira Paibis caught two alleged drug peddlers near Babupara BSNL office, Jiribam today.

The two youths, Thangsitlung Kamei and Manshi Kamei of Nungkao village under Tousem Subdivision, Tamenglong district were arrested by the Meira Paibis and Arambai Tenggol volunteers and later handed over to the Jiribam Police.

It is alleged that the two individuals were trying to smuggle drugs from Cachar Assam.

Notably, two alleged drug users from the Kuki community were also held yesterday by the AT volunteers and Meira Paibis.
