Imphal, April 09 2012: The eight IRB personnel who were apprehended by Assam Rifles troops with a huge quantity of ephedrine and other drugs have been sent to jail today.

They were brought before the Court of a Special Judge NDPS.

The Court directed to send them to jail.

It may be mentioned that the eight IRB personnel were apprehended by the troops of 42 Assam Rifles with 93 kgs of ephedrine and other drugs from Bongyang of Chandel district on April 2 .
